Rigging Drops

Changing all my drops to the #120 tarred line. Decided not to spend all the time tying bowlines & back hitches so I broke out the bench swagger & thin walled crimps that I use on my gator rigs. I can't believe how much easier & cleaner it is!!!

Somtimes you get what I call wings in the final crimp. A quick touch on the bench grinder cleans it right up!!!

Wow Capt. Jeff, one of us must be doing it right, because that's pretty much the way I do it, except I use copper electrical crimps.

How do those copper sleeve's work out? I've always put my long line clips on my decoys with a short lead and used them in puddle setups with "anchors"(clips) attached then I wind my lines around a wood spool for big water I just clip them on as I let out line or reel in and un-clip when it;s time to pickup.

I looked up the Memphis Net and Twine online. Their prices look great. I am on a thrifty budget and looking to setup 7 line of divers. I have the decoys already. That I have purchased or collected and rehabbed. Now I need to rig them. Will the roll of #15 seine twine work for the application at hand. I have a few long line clips from last season, but need to get a bunch more. The ones I have have th swivels as shown in the Capts photo. Memphis sells them without the swivel cheaper. I think it would end up saving me about $30 if I could do without the swivels. Are they absolutely needed?

Capt, nice job on the rigging by the way.
