Whiskey-BBQ glazed duck

I may have posted this before but I've been tinkering with it and have just about perfected it. It's a relatively simple and quick recipe.

Ingredients:
4 large duck breasts (mallard/black duck) or equivalent amount of meat (I used 12 teal breasts this most recent time)
Cheap whiskey (anything that comes in a plastic bottle will work)
1 large onion
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup honey
Butter

Marinate the duck breasts overnight in whiskey. Rough chop the onion. Melt butter in a frying pan and add onion and 1/8 cup whiskey. When onion begin to become tender add 1/4 cup BBQ sauce and 1/8 cup honey. Mix well and cook till onions are tender. Remove onions from pan and keep covered to keep warm. Add meat and marinade to pan, cook until medium rare. Remove meat from pan and keep covered. In same pan add 1/4 cup BBQ sauce, 1/8 cup whiskey, and 1/8 cup honey. Reduce heat and stir constantly until mixture is a medium thickness sauce. Add onion and meat to sauce and mix. Serve with rice and choice of vegetable
