Hard to tell size but I know it's bigger then any I want to see.

I like to see non-venomous snakes, heck I'll go all croc hunter when I see one. Venomous snakes, no thank you. I'll take blizzards over fangy critters any day.

I might take the snakes. -15 F. windchill last night.

80 MPH winds and -15 up on Mt. Washington last night for a windchill of -60F. Maple sap run has been abruptly halted.
 
We have blizzards, Timber Rattlers, as well as plenty of Maple sap here. The Wood Ducks and Hooded Mergansers are on the local trout streams. The Wood Duck hens are eating the Black Stone flies as fast as they hatch. Robins are a bit put out by the weather, but Spring will arrive in it's own good time.
