I thoroughly enjoyed that video of a rail hunt some years ago.

Down here in SC there are plenty of rails but not many hunt them at all.

For some reason the SC DNR has chosen not to open the season until early October this year, skipping September. That bummed me out.

Tonight is a high tide. I will go out with my fly rod and canoe and see not only if can spot a few redfish tailing but also will try to push some birds just for the fun of pushing some birds.

That's a fun video Jode. I met Ken a few times. I try and get at least one push every fall. This year I have a date in early October, which will be a first, I've only been in September before. What's really neat is that it is still a family thing there, everyone in the crew is related.

I did good in October last year . Not as hot and had some good shooting. Those guys sure are neat
