Remember Pattern of the Month?

I seem to remember that there was a pattern of the month thing going on here a long time ago. I'd like to see if we can get it going again. Here is one to start it off for March. This Canada goose is close to 2 feet long and almost a foot wide. Some of the things I put on there such as the top view of the head and the primaries are things I don't usually draw on my patterns. I usually just shoot from the hip on these areas so be sure to confirm them before you cut. This is not a competition style decoy, but a hunting decoy. There is a scale of both 1" and 6" for enlarging. The dotted areas are where you may want to make the neck a bit bigger and recess it into the body. The waterline should be somewhere around 1 1/8" or so. The lines drawn vertically on the head are for joining two halves of wood. The arrows show the grain direction. A 1/2" dowel at this joint wouldn't be a bad idea. Some of the things are not anatomically perfect. I am aware of this, and make no apologies. With the exception of the MLB pattern collection, I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS POSTED ANYWHERE ELSE. Please respect this. Thanks and I hope you like it!

I remember the pattern of the month. That's probably about as much as we can say about that... joking :-)
Nice looking pattern. It would even be great for anyone who wants to make Y boards.
Somewhere I have a pattern I did for a canvas cormorant, I'll have to clean it up and maybe it can be a future POTM.

"I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS POSTED ANYWHERE ELSE. Please respect this." Good luck with that. hehehe
