Totally NDR - removing White Pine tree Sap from wooden decking

This is an off-the-wall comment that occurred to me in the middle of the night (of course). For the past year I've had a glop of tree sap in the middle of my windshield that I always forgot to scrape off. Just yesterday I realized that it's gone - just vanished without a trace. The ONLY thing...

    Ramp-n-clamp

Thanks Dave, my understanding is that Boat2Trailer made the Drotto before developing it's version the Ramp-n-clamp. The Ramp-n-clamp is also stainless and I'll be using it in the salt. I'm all for anything to help loading by myself.

    Ramp-n-clamp

Anyone have experience with the Ramp-n-clamp boat loading system? Pros & cons? Considering one for my Texas flats boat/trailer because ....... I'm in my 5th month post total reverse shoulder replacement and I want to make sure I never have to go through it again. I'm not positive that yanking...

Totally NDR - removing White Pine tree Sap from wooden decking

Interesting, it's worked for me. Maybe on fresh sap but not dried?

Maybe a full or partial roof or a custom Sail Shade.

Mark, the only stuff I know of that takes care of sap is WD-40. Skin, cars, clothes, etc but have no idea how you'd do a deck.

    Who shoots a 28 gauge?

I got my first 28ga in 2005 as a present to myself for surviving open heart surgery. I've been reloading shotshells since about 1960 so of course bought 28ga MEC 650. It's about all I shoot anymore. I've loaded tons of lead shot as well as Bismuth, steel, Hevishot and variants. The pic is...

    Speaking of Clothing...

Eric, I'll echo what Jeff posted. IMHO there is nothing like natural materials for keeping warm. The top 3 are Merino, Down and Fur. My beaver hat works great but is only usable below 15 degrees - it's just too warm above that. Down works fantastic in dry cold but suffers in wet...

    Aluminum Boat Designs

Lance, Many of the designs mentioned will work for your needs. I built a BB3 and feel it is one of the best hulls that Sam Devlin designed. I've had it in 4 footers in Lake Michigan, Green Bay and Lake Manitoba plus stacked wind/current driven waves on the Mississippi River. I never felt...

    Help With Cancelling Poleboat

Good idea adding the skeg, should work great. I had oar locks and oars but preferred paddling so took them off. I found oars to be cumbersome in the thick vegetation I was hunting in so went to a paddle and a pushpole.

    Help With Cancelling Poleboat

Attach something like an eye-screw at both pointy ends. Run a bungee down each side of the combing that is trapped under hooks or even PVC tubing. Grass the bungees. Easily deployed and stowed. Have you had your poleboat in the water? Mine paddled and tracked much easier backwards than...

    Lee Harker memories

Hi Blake, nice to see you on here again. I'm not as regular as I used to be but still check out the activity regularly. I think I can help you out with your quest. I have several of Lee's decoys, etc that I'd be happy to rehome to you. I'll check through my piles of stuff and get in touch...
