    Working decoys

Yes the site is back up and running. When we sold Homer Decoys it left us with a server that we ran Homer Decoys on empty. So we was able to restore working decoys using that server. We have hired a webmaster who will maintain the site for us and insure its up to date and running on current...

The Duck Boat Company is in new "hands"!

Indeed the molds etc. has been sold. Olsen is planning to come start the moving process first of July as we are building one last 17SC (for me) with them as this is there first step in building all glass boats. We felt this was a nice fit for the molds with their location and decided they...

COOL looking boats I found in a pile of leaves...

Indeed, I just returned from Florida on vacation and we went on a guided trip using some motorized skiff called the solo skiff. Kool boat but very unstable and you had to sit still and was impossible to fish from. This boat being wide and stable would be perfect for those guys that run those...

COOL looking boats I found in a pile of leaves...

Bill we built this boat at just over 40lbs. LOL The great thing is it doesnt need any floatation foam. it is a sealed air chamber and holds very little water so the risk of sinking this is extremely low.

    reedy creek sneak boat

See other thread for more info. We own a copyright on this Hull. And no one else bought the molds. We applied for and was granted protection under the vessel hull protection act on the design if this hull in 2012 we use it on the bottom of the UFO for the towable UFO. This is why we bought the...

COOL looking boats I found in a pile of leaves...

Now We built one of these and took it to Canada with us to test it out. The boat worked great paddling around in the reed beds and in calm water. Once it got a to a 1 ft chop things changed you started getting water splashing inside the boat. Nothing drastic but enough to make a hunt on a cold...

COOL looking boats I found in a pile of leaves...

What would you like to know? We were approached by Ray several years ago about this boat and the molds. After a conversation and some thinking we came to an agreement and I purchased the design and a boat from him to retool the boat for resell. From our conversation there wasn't a lot of these...

COOL looking boats I found in a pile of leaves...

Yes that is indeed what they are. We bought the rights to these boats from Ray at Reedy creek several years ago. I think a search and you may find some info on them. We still have the molds just never really pushed them. Sold a couple and just got to many boats to build now.

Building an Aluminum BBIII - what modifications would you make circa 2017

Bracing reasons, but your indeed correct you can cut down on a lot of weight by going thinner and properly bracing the hull. Now days guys think they have to have half inch thick aluminum transoms and 1/4" thick hulls. All that does is cause extra weight and drag. Find a proven design thats...

Building an Aluminum BBIII - what modifications would you make circa 2017

Tom I disagree. By the time you seal the wood and coat it with fiberglass it will be very close If the aluminum is designed properly and especially when you take into consideration the absorption of the wood over time. A book worth reading that will answer alot of questions pertaining to all...
