I found where my boats leaking!

Is it just bad rivet? Or is there a crack? A buddy had a StarCraft welded along the “keel” seam welded twice. It’s cracked twice. If it’s just leaking around a rivet I would remove it and then inject it w resin and re buck the rivet. Tony

Got the rehabbed herters out finally!

They do and the paint seems to be holding up fine to being in leaf bags left on main lines and riding in the boat

    All Things Flocking

Thanks Don and William. I found that site , just didn’t know if there was some special place that was better/cheaper. Am I good to try just a kit to start? Figured that would probably be easiest?

    All Things Flocking

Ok , basic newbie question. Where are you guys ordering flocking from? Restle coating is great for divers(since they live in leak bags on mainlines all season). But for my mallards, I’d like to flock them. Anyone got some leads? Thanks Tony

    Project - Scull boat

one thing about foam is if water gets in there the pourable will absorb water. I’ve seen on other forums people advocate for the foam board since future repair will be easier. We redid a buddy’s aluminum boat. We filled the spaces with frp wall board on the bottom across the ribs(front to...
