    March Workbench

I definitely learned some things and would do some of it different if I end up going back one day. The kids like going and have been a few times but this was my first time participating in the activity.

    March Workbench

Today was my anniversary, so wife and I, along with the 5 month old, had the day to ourselves in town while my mom watched the other boys. Went to a "pottery" place that has just cheap china made stuff that you can paint glazes on and they fire them for you. So wife got an egg holder an I just...

    Grandpa’s decoys

Kevin, @Steve Sanford , on here has done many bill repairs, and it took me awhile to find one of his threads that shows some of his method. You'll have to click to see the pictures since it's one of the older threads before the move but should give you a good idea what can be done...

Northeast NC is just wet, wife about to get stuck just trying to get out the driveway, it did snow last night but didn't stick around. I'm currently in Atlanta and it's pretty cold here today.

    February workbench

It's been at least 6 years since I mounted a duck, had to rewatch some videos to remember some stuff. Some things that I couldn't quite get right in the pose how I wanted it but it's gonna be good for now as I get back into the hang of it.

    Brant banding question

I just want to shoot one, I don't need the bling on it, just think it's the coolest of the geese and have never even seen one. Hopefully one day, seems like the only way to get one here in NC is to be in the know or have deep pockets to get to the curtain blinds.

Okay this is the piece you have been leaving out. With that last response where i said it looked like you view your way is the only way is how the posts have been coming off. This comment is what is needed to show the basis of why you are saying those things. Yes if someone goes into using a...

Essentially, you make it sound like if people don't hunt like you do, act like you do, or view it the same as you then they are always wrong.

Tod I will have to disagree with your view on anyone that uses a guide is not a hunter or less of a hunter (paraphrased). People are not less of a man because they hired a mechanic to fix their car or to change the oil. If the same argument were applied then I imagine you'd say that person...

RM I think what Tod is talking about is like things I've heard from guide friends from Kodiak, Montana, and here in NC. There are the people that come that has saved up for the once of a lifetime hunt or just to have a good time together with friends but they are hunters that know what it...

Eric, mostly private land. Where I feel it is different than say someone leasing for cattle, farming, or even just to recreate is that they are leasing land to have explicit access to a public resource that is not owned by that one individual but to over 300 million. I find that different than...
