    Barnegat plans on Mylar

Steve, That must have been where my friends dad got the paper copy. It looks exactly the same. His dad owned a printing shop, so he must have made the Mylar copy. I took the Mylar and made a PDF file, just so I can make a copy or two in the near future. See you at the show.

    Barnegat plans on Mylar

This made my day! One of my closest colleague and friend had to clear out his Dad?s cottage this past year. His dad owned a blueprint shop, and in his collection at the cottage was a copy of the plans to make a BBSB on a Mylar base. I mentioned to my friend, that was a cool find. He?s into duck...

Happy New Year Ladies and Gentlemen, It?s been a while since I last posted, I?m still grassing that sneakbox- LOL. I actually haven?t hunted ducks this year, because I?m still a little uneasy on the water/mud where I normally go. Plus putting waders on is challenging. I did get out on land...

    Grassing boat #2

It took about 5-7 lbs of raffia, and I used a fishnet for the base. I?ll try and post the finished set up once I pull it out of the garage. These boats are nice boats.

    What kind of Sneakbox?

Sure looks like an Aeromarine boat, maybe the one man? I have the two man and the cockpit area is not tapered as muck towards the stern. Looks like the took out the rear bulkhead that holds floatation.

    Grassing boat #2

Bill, it's a 1982 Aeromarine 2 man capacity. It didn't have decoy racks when I bought if from a fella named David out in Freeport more than 16 years ago. I have never seen another since, but I did run into a guy who told me he had a one man version, but I never saw it physically. I almost...

    Grassing boat #2

Here are some earlier photos with the spray shield up. It has a hard fiberglass cover for the cockpit area. You can see I have a tear in the upper right side and the snaps are shot. Since it's getting close to the season I may just have to deal with it for one more, I hope. The last photo shows...
