    Hearing Aids

The audiologist I use has access to several hearing aid brands. Apparently they all differ in their ability to accentuate different frequencies. I have severe loss at high frequencies. Because of that, the audiologist suggested the ReSound brand. Another advantage to using an audiologist I believe.

    Hearing Aids

Long time hearing aid user here. I would add to Mike's comments that personalized fitting and tuning of the aides is critical. With my most recent pair I returned to the audiologist three or four times for fitting and tuning adjustments after purchase. I can return at any time for more...

    NDR - large rodents

Wonderful! Love to see the kids involved. When our son was that age, he and I trapped muskrats for a couple of winters. My wife has beautiful muskrat mittens and earmuffs from USAFoxx as a result.

Long canoe with a side mounted ourboard.

We run a side-mount on a 20' Old Town W&C Guide when we have a long trip on a lake to go camping. BUT, the canoe is loaded up with gear and two people. It's all about load balance. I would never try and run one with all the weight (motor and helmsman) in the stern.
