Here is my sneakbox, its was made by David E. Clark of E. Dennis Ma. Its known as the
Estuary and is 13'-2" long. The hull is fiberglass and the deck on mine is tongue and
groove fir screwed (stainless screws) to oak frames beneath. The decoy racks are mahogany
as is the nose piece on the bow. The engine mount and the coming on the cockpit are oak,
as are the oar locks. The dodger was also made by Dave and is made of marine canvas
providing a nice warm dry cockpit with plenty of room to stash a large retriever and
plenty of gear. Lots of room below deck with a shelf on one side for shells and radios
and room on the other side for oars and other long stuff. The removable padded backrest
lets you sit on the floor out of site and in comfort. My boat is powered by a 9.9hp
evinrude and will handle some fairly shallow water before I have to get out and walk.
It will also handle rather larger waves without undue worry. This is a very seaworthy
boat it will handle rough water with ease. Dave did a great job building this boat and
I'm glad that I have one.
