I'm 37 years old & duck hunt on the Susquhanna River near Columbia & Washinton Boro Pa with my brother Mark & my trusty black Lab Cody. I've been hunting duck for about 12 years mostly having success with Mallards,Blacks, & Goldeneye. I also do a bit of carving for my own rig (Mallards, Blacks, Bluebills, Goldeneyes) as well as for competition. Presently hunt out of a small 14 ft V bottom. Hopefully, in the not to distant future, I'd like to build a Kara & a Scaup. Monthly, I get together with 3 of my buddies Ray Henry, Tom Beck, & George Root ,all accomplished carvers in their own right, & we carve, practice calling, critique each others decoys, & enjoy each others company talking Duck!! All together we call ourselves "The Upriver Boys" Chapter of the O.D.H.A. (Old Duck Hunters Association) after Gordon McQuarry (sp?) Fame!
