Hello all!
I wanted to share with you some of my background. I now use the DHBP on a daily basis and I am hooked.

I have been hunting ducks since I was twelve years old. I grew up in western Pennsylvania and hunted the Pymatuning and Conneaut Lake marshes as well as several reservoirs in Mercer County. In 1990, I won the Pennsylvania State Duck Calling Championship. I love experimenting with game calling.

I did my undergraduate work at Penn State University (I was away from duck hunting then) and attended medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. There, I was lucky enough to draw a duck blind on Presque Isle State Park and really got into duck hunting heavy. I currently work at Lehigh Valley Hospital, in Allentown, PA and am in my second year of internal medicine training. From here, I will attend the University of Kentucky for a Nephrology (kidney specialist) fellowship starting in July of 2001. I live outside of Allentown, PA and have hunted the famed salt marshes in southern New Jersey for the past three seasons. This past year, I refinished a 12 foot wooden v-bottom row boat and did a lot of gunning out of this craft. Only the guys on this page can appreciate the joy you feel hunting out of a craft you helped create. My next project will be a Black Brant II with the help of my father.

I am married to the greatest woman on the face of the earth... Debbie. She actually contributes to my duck hunting habits!!! My side kick in the boat is "Doc", a three year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He is my best buddy.

My other hobbies include fly fishing, fly tying and cooking. If anyone needs a recipe for ducks or a particular fly, please get a hold of me. This sight, in my opinion, is made up of true sportsmen and women. I look forward to speaking with you all.

Sincerely,
Steven McCullough, DO
