I'm a 40 year old duck hunting addict with two yellow duck fetchers residing in northern Vermont. Hunt Lake Champlain mostly, late, for bluebills and goldeneyes.
I've built three boats so far, two Black Brandts and a 20' Carolina skiff. My next project is a layout boat. I'm kinda sloppy with the epoxy, but I like the boats rugged.
My father was a builder also. Last project before passing was a 17' cedar strip Whitehall with hydraulic inboard drive. Took him 3000 hrs- he got to ride in it once before passing. Probably snickering like hell when he sees the Black Brandts out on Champlain.....
