Dave Morton here from the little state of Rhode Island i love to hunt deer and ducks with duck hunting being my favorite sport. I have been duck hunting for about 12 years now and still don't sleep the night before opening day.About 6 years ago my dad and myself built a 12 foot duck boat and it is still in great shape thanks to the suggestions from guys from this site.I have worked hard to find a partner that loves the sport as much as i do but in 1999 i found the guy at agun club meeting (RIfish and game protective association)I know it sounds like i am tree hugger but this club has been around since 1940 and some of RI's best known hunters.Imostly hunt mallards ,teal,wood ducks,Canadian Geese we have an abundance of geese that are resident geese but we have a huge overcrowding problem in RI as well as an animal rights force enough to make you want to screem.Last year alone ther were 15 cases in the area where we used to hunt of activists shutting down areas opened for decades.Here in proberly the crooked state in the union money talks and BS walks. Well thats enough from me i look forward to talking to the many experienced hunters in the future.Have a safe season
