I'm 25 yrs. old, been duck hunting for about 10 yrs. I decided I should change my "Roll Call" message cause it didn't really portray me. I hunt mostly puddlers, but would really like to try for some big water divers. My boat is a 17' flatbottom w/35 h.p. Rude. My dog is Remington, a choc. lab. My gun - an 870 Express Mag. I believe in taking cupped and committed birds only, not skybusting. I gather more pride and enjoyment from a well handled retrieve than just about any other thing in life.
This year has been frustrating to say the least. I just moved to Duluth this year, and with minimal rain during the summer, and no ducks around, I've been making the 4 hour trip down to central Wi whenever I didn't have to work on Saturdays. My poor dog.
Lastly, I wanted to say that this site is the greatest thing since the decoy was invented. I have learned a lot from the experienced waterfowlers on here. Maybee next year I will get to put some of it to more use.
