Im 28 years old, have 3 kids, 9,8, 18 months. I live in a suburb of memphis,but im actually a transplanted arkansasan & proud of that fact. I hunt in ark, mostly field hunting with lots of decoys, all plastic (i have never thought about carving, for one thing im not allowed to play with knives). I have a fat yellow lab who is more spoiled than the kids, shes ok, but i trained her all by myself a lot of times not knowing what i was doing. My duck boat is 16 foot welded polarcraft with avery blind & 40 horse mariner, it only get used during the ice, teal season, & late mississippi season. I used to think duck hunting was about birds, its not, its about kids & dogs. There are a few days every year that are too bad for kids & dogs, & those days are for me... I recived to nickname one goose bruce for actually diving on a cripple snow after throwing my unloaded shotgun & 2 other geese at him. They dont get away, i always get the goose.
