Cool!
Same experience as your son: I see tons of bluebills on the bay but thats it. I've never seen a buffie or redhead.
All the other ducks I see (mottled ducks and blackbellies) are in places that are not huntable.
Eric, I grew up hearing the same thing. Then I went to other areas and other countries and found out a lot of people burn pine in their wood stoves. But they also clean their chimneys every year.
All we have is big box close by me, I've culled stacks of lumber before with no problems or interference.
Sometimes I really wonder how a sawmill can actually ship some of the crap in the piles. bent, twisted, big knots, etc...
Beginning to dream again/do some long term planning about building a boat:
Do any of the suppliers still make 4'x12' plywood?
I did a search and couldn't find any.
Some guys have all the luck!
I went back and looked at the Guenther Garvey, this TDB hull is a pretty darn good imitation, just slightly less LOA and maybe a hair taller sides.
My wife splurged on Ralph Lauren goose down king size pillows for us a few years back. I love mine.
I always stay at Hampton Inn when on business travel. Each bed has 4 pillows and it seems like a mix of firmness and thickness, I find the one that suits me best and throw the rest on the other bed.
