More Canada Restrictions Against US Hunters

As with most outdoors "destinations", sooner or later, too many people and too many inconsiderate people, wreck the whole experience. I am not informed enough to have an opinion on the white geese conservation order and its impacts on hunting in Canada or if it has really had an impact on white...

The 1961 Evinrude Duck-Twin 3hp "Splash of Vintage"

Very Cool! I believe the town he was from is probably Nanticoke, PA. Its a coal mine town on the Susquehanna River, which makes sense.

    Sub $1K kit trailers...

That seems to be the going price for small galvanized trailers these days. In 1999 I bought a brand new on for $450!

    Sub $1K kit trailers...

Yep, I've looked at new trailer prices, they sure aint as cheap as they used to be! With how salty the water is down here even in the bays, I will be lucky if I get 4 more years out of my old trailer. Not looking forward to having to buy a new one.

    Sub $1K kit trailers...

How about getting a boat trailer for a 14-16'' boat and put a platform on top of the bunks? You could customize the width and length of the platform.

The 1983 Merrymeeting Scull Boat Project

Nice to see one of Lou's LS&B boats on the water! He was really active here back in the day, havent seen him post in years. She cleaned up very well. The hull seems to be sitting on top of the water, impressive very shallow draft.

Anyone Have One Of Those New Style Truck Caps?

This is why I am sticking to an SUV! I love the look and utility of a 4 door pickup but the bed length is a killer. My test is can I fit an 8' fishing rod, and unless you buy full size regular cab pickup, the answer is no. I'll be sticking to my Honda Pilot until the wheels fall off.

    Devlin’s Mallard Build

There was some recent discussion on the pros and cons of poured foam floatation. Seems like guys were moving away from that and using foam blocks, pool noodles, etc. just an FYI.

Zach Taylor widgeon by mighty layout boys HELP

Nice boats! I do seem to remember other members seeing more flex in the hulls than expected and some implemented “fixes”. I’m sure someone will chime in. BTW, please check your messages!

I've never seen that approach, I will defer to those with more boat building experience!
