Pricing a Arthur Armstrong Blackjack 13

Always loved the lines of the Blackjack.. as others have said, boats in great shape go for 1,500-3,000 depending on where it's located and what time of the year your selling. They pop up occasionally on the FB waterfowl, layout/sneak boat and AA pages.

    AA Blackjack Floor Repairs

Believe me, I know how you feel. We've got a "similar" project going. If it were me, I'd gut it down to the bare hull and build it back up with new everything. At this point, to do it right, I don't know what other options you may have.

Zach Taylor widgeon by mighty layout boys HELP

I have an MLB Chuck Huff. I believe Dave does too? It's a bit bigger than your widgeon and is rated for up to 15hp. The earlier Chuck Huff models had floor flexing problems and some even developed cracks and leaked. I believe there are threads documenting the early problems and solutions...

Where to put the dog in sneak box small boat

That's my little Chuck Huff. I refurb it back in 2001. I've never hunted my dog from the Huff but really need to. She's 10 and slowing down a lot. A few pond hunts a year is all she gets these days. Here is a pic with the dodger on and all grassed up.

    BBSB Rehab Help

Thanks a million for all the advice! We are getting closer! So far, with the exception of the transom doubler, we haven't used any screws/fasteners. There are no screws holding the floor to the ribs, only copious amounts of thickened epoxy and perimeter fillets and tape. Perhaps I'm over...

    BBSB Rehab Help

Thomas added a new son to the family and moved into a new house, so progress on the ole' Madoc stalled out for a few months while he settled in. However, we are back on it now and made a bit of progress this weekend. After adding 2 base layers of 1708, new ribs, overlapping layers of tape and...

Anyone Have One Of Those New Style Truck Caps?

My topper has the frameless windows. The rear half of the window cranks open from the inside out. I'm sure there is a procedure for window removal, however I can't find it anywhere. I believe the front half may be glued in and the rearward portion hinges on a "soft hinge." It's leaking on the...

Anyone Have One Of Those New Style Truck Caps?

I bought a used ARE for my tundra. It took over a year to find one, and then I took it to a local body shop for paint match. I looked at new, but the idea of spending 4K on a fiberglass topper made my toes curl. I have $1,400 in my used one, after paint match. I built a pullout drawer with a...
