Speaking of breeding habits of mallards. Did anyone notice in the "Great Migrations" show the other night they show a Drake Mallard courting a hen pintail. It was a brief shot. I could of swore it was a hen pintail but I am going through Duck season detox. Gene

I have a homemade pvc(came with motor) but it's very uncomfortabale due to dia. of the pipe being to large in hand. Imagine holding the barrel of a bat. Basiclly looks just like yours Dave, except for handle dia. Does the pvc hold up in freezing temps, not becoming brittle? The after market one...

I would of guess he did it. He does some outstanding work. I have a couple birds I need to get to him. If he'll be at westlake this year maybe then. It's tough get the right bird. So may things make it to the wall and not the grill or grinder. Gene

My Duck Wrangler 17 has liner sprayed from grass rails to keel. Previous owner had it done. Works really well with ice, it doesn't have any wear through marks anywhere on hull. I don't deal with rocks much, but Sand, Ice and beaching it on tumps seems to protect it. I like it but wouldn't pay...

I agree with Greg, This is a expensive hobby. For me, when I started out on my own with buddies it was our Dad's or uncle's canoe maybe neighbor's and a dozen Mallard dekes. In my area that was the extent of it for us to hit a swamp or management area for ducks on our own. Boats w/outboards...
