I go about every year. It's a huge show and gets a ton of attendance. It's actually TOO crowded from a spectator point of view, but I imagine for an exhibitor it's a great show.
We talked about taking our sneakboxes there, but want to test the waters some first. A buddy of mine has a booth with his turkey calls, and is going to exhibit for us maybe.
Thanks for the reply.... Been doing my hunts through various dinner/banquet events (and actually have done quite well), but jumping in feet first for the new year: http://www.norcalwaterfowl.com/ Some Northern California seaduck, diver, & brant hunting....
It's a show packed full of guys from PA, and PA is a state that HUNTS HUNTS HUNTS.
I'll most likely drive up for a day to say hello to some friends.
It's like any show, you'll get some plenty of bites and go through a alot of bait, but don't expect to hook all of them and definitely don't think you'll get any in the cooler.
At worst you get your name out there and meet some other folks in the industry and see some cool products.
Paul,
I went last year (1st time), plan to go again this year. Lots of exhibits that I couldn't cover in one day. Five of us traveled and had a great trip, we stopped off at cabela's on the way back. It's like a hunter/fishermen playground! Most of the guys I went with were looking into guides for future hunts.
