Aythya affinis...

I love Broadbill cut my teeth on them under the excellent tutelage of Andy Tanner!

Theres an old book Modern Waterfowling John Carter Theres a chapter The Diver Hunter is a Specialist. If you want a crash course in divers its all there in black and white
I mis the days of the 10 bird limit but I still put out 80 decoys for the chance at two. Call me stupid but I love them when there twisted up over the decoys Chet is my favorite artist, Soory mike ur #2 All pun intended. There is a sound that will renin with me forever. A windless day an 500 plus dropping in keeps me going back

Brad - Nice photos! How long does it take you to pitch all those longlines in the second photo? It must be the tide that makes those look so real... pg

You mean this one Pat? Only one long line, the rest are single droppers!

Whoa! Lotta lead and lotta line. Must have hit every tire shop in town to float that rig. If I had known you were going to do that, I would have bought stock in decoy bags before you made them... What's your ratio of hens to drakes? Lessers to greaters?? So lifelike...

As I told you Pat, it takes me longer to put out my rig than to shoot my limit.

On the hen to drake ratio I try to match mother nature....to the fifteenth decimal place. Can you carve me another 36 doz?

You're gonna make Dwane O a very rich man. That's a lot of white cedar. You want lessers or greaters? Mud Lake style I am assuming?
