Bill,

I have a beavertail boat blind on my 16' Duranautic. I've had the blind for 4 years now and have been very pleased with it.

Here are a few pics of the blind on my boat. Hope this helps.

The first pic shows how the blind sits on the gunwall ready for travel and pic 2 is a shot of the boat with the blind up and ready to hunt. It takes about 5 seconds to flip the blind up and down.

Thanks, mike for the great pic's of the mud buddy,Ithink thats the blind my friend will be getting, see you on the marsh in mass. this fall. Bill

Go look at the Flyway Specialties blind (google it). I bought a frame kit, modified it somewhat and love how it works with my Vee hull boat. The best part was that it was customizable to fit any boat and that it did not take up any room in the boat unlike other blinds that utilize a scissors of some type.

Perry, I have had good luck with the mud buddy quick flip. I have had mine on two differnt 16'ers one a v -hull and one a mod-v. When I went up to the 18' I had to buy a new cover.

If you're interested in the cover I had on the 16'er, I was trying to sell mine. You'd need to make up a new frame out of conduit, but it wouldn't be a big deal, especially for a man like you who can build entire boats! I can provide pictures and dimensions for the frame. Drop me a line if you're interested - I can't remember what I was asking, I think a couple of hundred $$, but I'd consider interesting trades too.
