Ed had inquired about how I rigged the lights on my jon boat (he has the same boat).
Well, here is what I did, in pictures. Basically, I used rubber light clips to hold the poles for the stern and bow lights. I bought lights with the longest poles I could find, cut the socket end off & hard wired them. A fused switch on my battery box turns them on & off. This system has worked great for over 6 years. The nice thing is if you hit the dock or something else, the lights simply get knocked down instead of breaking the poles.
