father and son duck hunt recommendation

Hey guys looking to take my son on a hunting trip this season .Was looking into ark but the dates are not working out .Looking to go on the xmas break so he doesnt miss any school.Do you guys have any ideas .Looking for field hunts flooded timber or river .Something that we dont have here on li Thanks John
 
If you are planning on flying, come out to CA. Nice weather, 7 bird limits, and some birds you don't see on the east coast. Let me know if you want some guide references.
