I hunted out of one several years ago with Chuck Lichon and was very impressed with the stability, especially for a boat that resembles a canoe. Nice boats.

I have a 15 ft gheenoe and it is great. Stable, easy to power (small motor, trolling motor or paddle), has plenty of room. I fish and hunt from mine.

if your going to use it for duck hunting, and your going to camo it up ,then check ebay. you can get an older beat up one with a trailor for cheap, esp. in the florida area, because thats where they are made. then do a google search for "craigslist gheenoe" the fancy white ones with the pole-platforms, and bells and whisles are for the flats-fishermen, and can go for thousands. in the cetral florida area in areas like merit island refuge, they are very popular esp. with a small go-devil motor

Great little boat. Super stable, I hunted St Mary's and Indian lakes and the Stillwater River in one back in the 70'S, when Harley Gheene was still makin them in Ohio.
