Guys, had to share some good news...

My sister - and our family as a whole - got her Christmas present yesterday. Her husband came back from Iraq.

He was deployed last October with 1st Cav (Apache pilot), about 2 weeks after his daughter Sophia was born. He had a short leave here in April or May, but he's home until 2009, or so they say right now.

So, for all of you keeping the military in your thoughts and prayers, thanks from Arkansas and Killeen, Texas.

Great news Rick.
Keeping the rest of the service families in our thoughts as we all think of what the holidays are really about.

The family reunited...

Now, that is some good news. In fact, best news I have heard in a while.

Best to you and your family Rick.

Have a very good Christmas!

Very cool! Couldn't ask for more than that! Merry Christmas to all and thanks for your service.

Great news indeed. Makes my eyes misty just thinking about all the "first things" that he missed during Sophia's 1st year...
Nearly unbearable sacrifices our service men and women make for our freedoms....

May God bless and keep them all....

Merry Christmas.

Rick,

That's great news! Please thank your brother-in-law for his service to our country. We can never repay him for the time spent away from his family. Especially, his young daughter!

God bless your family,

Tom

Can't think of a better Christmas present. Glad he is home safe and sound. This war in Iraq will end soon, I can feel it.

That is great news for sure. I wish for christmas the other tens of thousands could do the same. 1 plane + 1 mighty bomb = Peace in the middle east.
