It's a glorious day, Sunday and birthdays, At my age you give yourself a birthday present. Actually I got in May. Something I had been waiting on for a while. A ten megapixel single lens reflex camera. The pentax K10D. A lot of thought and research went in to the purchase. There are a number of good cameras in that range and they all have there pluses and minuses. One of the factors about this camera is that it is sealed and although not water proof. Don't put it under water, it is resistant. Non of the other camera,s were. I received some incite from others on this site before I went ahead for that I am thankful.
Yesterday I was at the LaCrosse Duck Boat get together. What a great group of people.Lots of pictures were taken. When I get some organized I will post some up here. Yes they like strawberries and smoked fish and other goodies and good beer. I was the only one that didn't bring a boat. Even Ed brought a boat this year. Phil brought his boat. Wow you could have put all the other boats in his. When you see all the modifications and different approaches that every one uses with there equipment ,A quite inventive group of people.
