Has anyone modified a foam core snark sailer

I picked up a used snark style foam core sailboat for my daughters this summer at a fair price. When I bought it I figured if they don't want to sail then maybe I'd do some mod's and add a couple keels, a cockpit and some glass and paint it to look like the marsh. Has anyone out there done this and if so...can you post a few pics of your boats for ideas?

my huntin partner did one a while ago made a cool two man lay out not sure if it was a snark or what we just filled where the board went through and layered it up works real well
