Boy, I sure would be just as happy as you. Will you pick her up on 49 or 56 days, Dave? Do you have a name picked out yet or will you wait to see what you have? Congratulations and let the fun begin. As has been mentioned get your camera ready.

Al,
The litter is 2 1/4 hour drive away. I will go back at 6 weeks to select just which female, I have 3rd pick of the litter. At 8 weeks, I'll go back to bring her home. I hadn't thought about a a name, until asked by several local friends. At this point in time, I am leaning towards the name "Cinnamon", unless something about her, tells me different.

As far as the camera, yes I do need to dust of the Cannon. Can't even remember the last time I charged batteries, I may even need to replace them. The phone is so handy and actually does quite well for "snapshot" photos.
 
Dave, when you said you had a two + hour drive to go get her, it made me think of leaving Socorro, NM at 3:30AM and heading almost due north to northeastern Montana, to see Doug and Nancy Bowman who own Sweetgrass Kennel. They have some gorgeous and of course great looiking chocolates. I used to great looking for the males! On the map they live between Glasgow and Nashua, Montana. That was a 1200 + miles one way trip to get there.

Here is the pup and what he looks like when he is almost two years old. I know that when June 15th is here I will bring him to the vet for his hip and elbow x-rays.
