Lucky dog story.

Well we're just about ready to go here, we're leaving tonight at suppertime, but I just got a call from the snowplow driver from down by Heidi's place. We talked her into looking after Jenny for us while we were gone. It took her about a day and a half, but I guess my pup figured out that I wasn't around and went looking for me sometime this morning. It is -26C with a windchill of -37C right now. He picked Jenny up about 10 miles from the farm, headed for BC. She's fine I guess, and he called me because of the number on her collar. She would have been a dogsicle for sure. There just isn't much traffic down that road, so its really lucky the snowplow guy was out.

I guess that's what they call "drive" in a dog eh?

NO KIDDIN'! Man, I'd buy that guy some fancy Serengetti Driver sunglasses and a box of fancy doughnuts for sure. That's great...wow!!

Stan The Man must've of decided to sow his wild oats the other night and took a 5 hour tour of LaPorte. He was lucky because by the time he wandered up to the porch it was still zero and he only had a dripping cut on his nose and huge chunks of ice all over him (among other frozen liquids of nefarious nature). He may've ventured 10 blocks! And to think I was worried about dog sickles!
