Hey Paul,
I just got on line and noticed your thread. I loved it and still remember those sounds and mostly the scent of pine trees in the air. What great memories when I used to drive through Alberta twice a year when I would go to the lower 48 to see my folks, from Alaska. I would always take a different way back up to Dawson Creek, just because of the sheer beauty that typifies your beautiful province.
Not too long ago I was dreaming that if I could have the water running in that river for just 10 minutes, my teal hole might become my honey hole. There is but a cupful or two left. I doubt that there will be any water there by opening day which is on Sept. 16th.
