oh and of course going anywhere we want to go camping

and i imagine all our tenting gear and tents will be for sale soon ....ahhh that means i get more room in the duck shed

which can only mean one thing more decoys ahahahahaa

Thanks guys its more then the 4 of us need counting Dasiy Dawg but what the heck ,knowing us we always over pack while tenting everything including the kitchen sink ,oh! wait its got one ,so one thing we can leave home lol.

we always vacation in PEI every year and a trip to NFLD and by gawd when i retire Mike your back better be better cuz ifin the truck and trailer can make im gonna head your way "North to Alaska well the yukon first anyway"

Lee the make of the trailer i believe is they fly under the Flying Dutchmen Flag name of trailer is a Kodiak line..its a hybred they said because it has a roll out and the soft top ends that pull out..

cant wait to try it out got to put antisway bars on the trailer and hook up the electric holy shit brakes for the trailer as wll in the truck its probably gonna be next week before its in the yard....no hurry summer is on the way...

here the funny part of the whole thing ,missus says lets go for a drive i need a head of lettuce for supper ,so i had the truck all shined up and says lets go ,then on the way she says lets look in there at trailers as all month i was looking at used ones.next thing i know we are signing papers and it ours ,she said and i quote"thats the most expensive head of lettuce i ever bought"

It was all her she totaly floored me when she said up this one lets get it....i got all misty eyed ,big lump in my throat ,what??? but its its its OK!!!lets git er!!

then she said its not like we wouldnt use it between hunting and fishing trips and summer vacation trips and any time we want to go stay some where for the weekend we can now no more hassles....gawd i love her....

Makayla was more interested in trying out the 4 beds oh the two pull out ones are heated matresses now that will be great come oct duck season wont it...

Shermie, I was just wondering cause it looks like the ones less than a mile from my lumberyard. In a 40 mile radius of me..is the largest makers of mobile homes, campers and motorhomes and modular housing. Nice camper you have there, the heated beds are a BONUS.

Congratulations on the home on wheels. Your wife is a smart person now she gets new plates cups silverware for the house and the older stuff goes in the house on wheels. Got to be ready on a minutes notice. Oh ya don't forget the duck tape, some times you need that if you go down a rough road, a safety feature for cupboard doors. Don't ask me how I know that.

Those tip out beds are a great idea, no wasted length to tow around like you'd have in a normal trailer with that many beds. I really enjoy our 21 footer. Tents are O.K. for a weekend stay, but a trailer like yours will be as nice as being at home. They have come a long way with trailers now. I see yours has forced air heating, plus air conditioning. For extended cold weather stay I swith over to the larger 7 gallong size propane tanks and leave teh 5's at home.

Heck, Judy and I have our trailer parked down by our pond during teh summer months and I run a 110V cord out to it for lighting and running the refridgerater. We like going down of an evening and having a cold drink. Sometimes we fix dinner down there and spend the night on the weekends.

Sure saves on motel rooms when you go on vacation. I'm sure there are plenty of neat camp grounds all over PEI to visit. You guys will have lots of fun with that nice rig. Good buy!

Your wife suggesting you buy that trailer brings my story up. I'm on the Alcan highway on my way to Alaska to hunt caribou. I call home to check on my wife and she tells me she has found a great motor home--what should she do, should she buy it or what? I said buy it. We'd always done things together and she said she couldn't. Well she did and we put 96000 miles on it seeing all the states in the United States all the Canadian provinces including yours and traveld to PEI the day after they opened the new highway. Your gonna have a great time with your trailer but keep a daily journal for it's great reading in later years. My son and I hunted out of it in North Dakota and ducks on the Mississippi. One thing that a motorhome has that your trailer doesn't have is that you don't have to stop to use the john :-)
Happy Trails
