Hard to believe they are 8 weeks old and nine have joined their homes leaving three, one of which leaves this weekend. Two pups left, one male, one female.
Michelle took the kids to the beach all last week while I had to stay and work. Thomas was anxious to return so he could say bye to "Hunter", now named "Seven" before he got a plane for Seattle along with "Big Momma." Later that evening I looked over to see Michelle crying. It hit her hard that these little fellas were not going to be with us much longer.
I started doing some backyard fun retrieving this week and the last little boy we have is FIRED UP over the mini bumper. I love it becuase I know Cassie and Ready's pups are going to make great hunting companions. It's been a ton of work but an experience I have absolutely no regrets doing. I don't know if we will ever breed Cassie again (she's starting to get up there), but am so glad my family has shared in the "puppy days."
