Question for NJ guys Little Egg Harbor

I have to bring a guys boat back south from New Gretna. Look at my charts looks like a lot of little islands where the bay meets the inlet. is it well marked to get thru to the inlet ? Worried it looks very shallow.. Any comments would be appreciated.
 
Stay in the ICW and go out Atlantic City. Much safer. This time of year you can make good time inside.
