Fellas, Just an update on the show this July 28th. I know a lot of you are looking forward to it, and rightfully so. The event package has started showing up this week, and there is some real nice stuff in it. Includes some nice artwork, stuff for around the house and a nice selection of Avery decoys including fullbody ducks, geese and more. All of it is going home with someone! We will be focusing on a lot of raffles so a guy doesnt have to have a ton of money to have a chance at some great stuff, and we're going to have a lot of guns as well. We have a pretty impressive list of vendors and speakers that continues to grow every day. I dont care what your skill level, you'll be able to learn a lot from the best in the business on subjects including but not limited to: Retriever training, calling, decoy placement, and more!
We are pretty excited with the catering for this event as well. We are cooking a pig and all the fixins. This is the same company that did the food for my wedding reception, and they do an awesome job. There's a number of guys here that came and I'm certain will agree.
We are not serving alcohol, but BYOB is fine. Cans are prefered to bottles for clean up reasons, and we will be collecting cans to adopt a pothole or two.
If you have any questions as to where the money goes from this, keep in mind that delta is PRO HUNTER, and activley fightying for our rights on the front-lines. If you need proof, look no futher than the issue going on with the scaup limits right now.
Heres the deal: It's 3 bucks to get in the gate, and 25 bucks for the dinner/banquet. Buy your dinner ticket in advance, and you dont have to pay the 3 bucks to get into the workshop or see the vendors? Fair enough?
We take checks, and should be up and running to take credit cards soon. Hope you can all make it. I can be reached at deltashow2007@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Paul
