I've been on a Talking Heads binge. We had a summer intern at work, and she and I had to share a long ride to a field work site. I told her I'd drive and she could play whatever music she liked. First up was Stop Making Sense--the entire album. Been looking up old favorites from that album ever since.

And the movie is out on HBO right now

It's been a long summer. Watching friends go through difficult times makes one very aware of those who you can count on. I'm happy to have a few. I hope I am one of those to these friends.
Maybe I've posted this song before, if I have I apologize, but it captures the mood well.

Don't stop there. Blondie, and the Ramones and ya got the CBGB's trifecta. To have lived during those times was one helluva experience and oh my the memories. Some of which are clearer than others...
