What was the length of body on coastal's? I have a few in original paint that are in perfect shape that I haven't hunted in years. Also a few Mallards that Were actually sold by Cabela,s for one year that are the same exact decoy by same carver,also in perfect shape. Mine are oversize but not sure if they are coastals. All in original paint.

The coastals I run are 18" bodies Roy sold thru LL Bean 1994, Coastal models were the standard decoy ordered through the TDB (The Duck Boat Co) when they partnered thru Cabelas

Thanks Anthony. Mine are Coastal,s then 18" body. I just always referred to them as oversize. My Blk. Ducks came from Beans. Mallards from Cabelas. No different than the Bean decoys.

I have rehabbed some of the larger Bean's - the Deluxe Oversize. To my eye, the heads are too small. I believe they are the same ones used on the Coastals.





No doubt they'll fool plenty of ducks - but the Coastals (and equivalents from other makers) seem big enough to do the job.
