    Al

His stories about dogs and ducks always brought a smile. His pictures were outstanding as well. Al was a well respected family member of this site. RIP my friend.

Thanks Steve and all who replied. Unfortunately two of the guys who were all fired up have pulled out, so I won't be doing any more research this year. Thanks again. Have a safe and successful season. Jim

    Canadian duck hunt

Thanks Greg. I still remember buying the first decoy auctioned off for Dad. Woodrow. He sits proudly in my basement with the log book. Yes, I'm in NE Wisconsin. Probably looking at Sask. or Alberta.

Any suggestions for a Canadian outfitter? We're starting to plan a trip for the 2023 season. Appreciate any first hand information. We don't need luxury, just a reputable outfitter. Thanks. Jim

Duck Dynasty Home Shot Up In Drive-by Shooting.

Willie's house not Phil's. I wonder if you'd be so flip if it was your house and family.

    Closecall with almost drowing

Scary stuff Paul. After falling out of my boat trying to retrieve a small mouth fly I was like you-in the river current hanging on to the boat. After that I made a rope ladder with wooden rungs just for that situation. It stays clipped to the inside of the boat at the stern. I can reach it...

Spring time is a magical time of the year

A great way to start my morning, thanks Dani. I think I'll take our Wisconsin ticks and mosquitoes over the snakes and crawly things in your world. Good luck with the turkeys.

Great shots, Al. I'll bet you and Bev had a ball watching and listening to the birds.

    Wisconsin Members

Captain Frank, I'm just west of Appleton. All thumbs when it comes to boat building or decoy carving, but love to chase ducks and geese. Welcome to the area. PM me for more info. Jim

Unique Duck Calls by Mr. Robert Furia

Hey Vince, I have given Bob's calls as gifts and have a few on my lanyard. Not only are they works of art they sound great. I've fooled many a duck and goose with them. Enjoy.
