Looking for a trip

I?m trying to get something on the books for next year for my boys. I could go south or north. Just don?t want to spend a fortune. Would love to bring my boat and dog if possible. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you hunted the TX or Louisiana coast?
Texas coast southwest of Houston is not a bad drive from Kentucky and depending on your choice, you get a chance at a mixed bag of puddlers, divers and geese (snows & speckled bellies).
Louisiana you can do a cast & blast for ducks and redfish.
