MAY What's On Your Workbench?

Nice shop. I rehabbed mine starting last summer and over the winter . You know the market is very hot for those old library style card catalog files like you have. I thought of using my powrarm in the vice to save space but didnt go that way. What were the interesting things that you "lost" and then found on the re-do.

Solid Michigan white cedar with Wisconsin white pine heads...

That is about as light as you can get. My White Pine is 42% heavier. I might be trying to get as light with my hollow decoys as you already are with the solid ones.

I still am going to make some solid blocks. I need the numbers and the boat carries the weight anyway.

prototype I worked on from pattern to setting eyes and sealing this afternoon.

Thanks fellas.

Roy no girls there are some carving and paint issues I am working on. When I get those figured out and corrected I am going to spend a lot of time on the girls.

Tom~

The paint on the backs is tremendous! Lots of depth - and the whole birds have that silvery Mallard look.

All the best,

SJS
