Now if I could find a 6 foot diamater white pine, bass wood or cedar and have them mill it to my specks, kill dry it and deliver it to me I'd be set.

if you guys think that bandsaw is big here are some photos from the band saw being restored at Itasca State Park at the Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers Village. I believe it came from the Cass Lake MN area. The building houses the steam engine to power the band saw, it is currently operational. There is a picture of a lady standing next to the bottom wheel to the band saw. Enjoy! It has been a yr and a half since I stopped by so I am sure more of the project has been done.
