Like Carl, I need this cited from a few other sources. Now the fillibuster reform, I am a little worried about that one.
 
Haven't our armed forces been taking an oath for a long time to defend our nation against all enemies, foreign or domestic? What exactly did you think that means?
 
Every time the Senate majority changes hands they talk about changing fillibuster rules. I'm not too worried about it.

I just want Congress to do their job: pass a realistic budget that funds government and gets the deficit under control.
Is it really too much to ask them to do their jobs??????

Pass a budget and then tackle real issues like tax reform, SSN reform & Medicaire/Medicaid reform.

Well that one escapes me since the draft ended in 1973 prior to me turning 18. I opted to go to school. As a law abiding individual I don't consider myself a threat. Now if I decide that I've lost all hope, join a militia and go marching down to 1600 Pennsylavania Ave. with loaded gun in hand, well......maybe but today I still believe in the system.

No secret?? That's odd or I must be out of the loop on these sort of things. I think if you actually conducted a poll (instead of perpetuating rumors) you would find that a large percentage of today's military are law abiding citizens that own large capacity fire arms/assault type and most of that population serve their initial term of service instead of making it a career. That means they return to the ranks of normal citizens and not military members.

One other point, the military does not belong to the President. We belong to the country and are sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution, the President is the Commander-in-Chief and can only issue legal orders. To violate our Constitution would constitute an illegal order........

I say get facts straight before attempting to spread rumors or misinformation about anything.
