    Fritz Meck, of Lancaster Pa. made those boats in the late 70's. They were great boats and had a hull that could handle some speed. I had him ship me two to Los Angles and shipped him 2 Scull boats. Had my boats until 2011 , when I had the big garage sale. Super boats for bigger water! Bob

    Paddle making

    Hi ! I have made many Sculling oars over the years and have used Titebond # 3. Have never had a problem with any separation in the glue joints They've been used in both fresh and salt water. Some have been used for 20+ years. Titebond #3 is good stuff!! Bob Hayden

    layout boat paddling

    Hi . The boats we made had a slanted front for easier towing and rowing. We always use the take apart kayak paddles for paddling. If the wind isn't real strong it's easy to unhook the boat from the mooring anchor and paddle to retrieve a cripple that's pretty close. Bob H
