Humm, now that you ask, I wonder if you have a hull without the bulkheads (foamed bow and sponsons) then maybe there is plywood within the glassed transom. I wish I paid more attention when I drilled the new holes. Reach out to Steve, he has done many more, and has some on site that he can inspect. So the plywood is visible from the inside and you are able to see if it is rotted.
Dave is correct, plywood within the glassed transom it's encapsulated betweenHumm, now that you ask, I wonder if you have a hull without the bulkheads (foamed bow and sponsons) then maybe there is plywood within the glassed transom. Mine is a 1982, but obviously was not stored outside as it is solid throughout. Found no rot, even in the floor ribs with the flooring screwed into them.Have not seen the boat in person yet will see it soon, owner says was built in 2001.
