Collapsible Boat blind - ideas?

Hello to the Forum -
I have a 20ft mod-vee boat(2072) and considering a collapsible boat blind for it.
Would like it to collapse when trailering & for decoy setups.
there are some commercial ones available, not sure how many are worth the investment?
If anyone has built their own, would appreciate insight or photos.

I boughtone of these a long time ago and love it. Back when I got mine, one could just purchase the frame alone with no camo. Don't know if this is still an option.

Current boat I'm refurbishing will have some version of this blind.

I am very happy with the beavertail blinds. I have one on my Scaup, and Brian has one on his 18fter. I like that it folds to one side, leaving the entire opposite gunnel exposed/free. It comes with a travel cover, but I find it a PITA with frozen fingers and over stuffed blind material at the end of the hunt. Instead, I installed 4 straps and buckles to the deck and use them to secure it for travel on the road. When we get home, flip it over for drying out and fluffing the wet grass and camo. Good value in my experience.

I,ve built about 3 renditions on my 2072 Seaark. Latest is back to same as first where frame up right arms folds to side and rolled blind stows along gunnel. Frame designed to allow me to walk thru to bow or stern down shoot slot which is 30" wide. Aluminum Brackets attached to front deck and to a section of aluminum angle that stretch's between rear corner bxs as my hull has full walk thru to stern thru seating. Brackets are bolted in place and remain on boat year round. Blind comes off and gets stowed in decoy building. I,ve never taken a pic of it in close up mode where you could see how its built but design as well as materials is tough and hunts well. Boat can be ran with blind erected from my side console.

I’ve built my own. Should be a diagram on the resources page. Used conduit, pvc pipe and camo netting. Easy to put up and down and cheaper than buying a commercial one.

Do you have someone or do you have the capability to sew Cordura Nylon? Thats the material i,ve made my present blind from. I do the pattern design & cut out, pin up and wife sews for me. First I did on boat was with Sports back stop netting. Worked fine but of course air , water will pass thru it even heavily grassed. Cordura in my opinion is the way to go.
