Harvest Information Program, Are you HIP?

As many of the old timers here know, I've been working for several years to find ways to improve migratory bird harvest data by educating hunters about HIP. The most recent effort has been to test images and messages with hunters. Several of the members on Duckboats.net participated in these focus groups. Thanks to those of you who submitted your names and those who participated. It's now time to share a couple of the final products since they have been vetted with all of the flyways and partner organizations. I hope you will see these images and messages over the course of the next few years in your regulations pamphlets, agency websites, agency social media posts, posters at sporting goods stores, etc.

Thanks again. Let me know if you want to use any of these images for your own purposes such as fundraising dinners or club functions.

Unfortunately I can't embed the images or videos directly into this post so you'll need to click the links. Let me know if you run into any problems or if you know how I can get them to display in this post.

Since I've heard that the links weren't working I am going to try to post the ads and videos directly here.

Brad

The video links in your first post are in fact good. They were blocked in the gov building where I work. Maybe after a good showing from the new HIP campaign the IT folks will realize HIP is not a cybersecurity threat, rather good management of north American waterfowl. I think the straightforward message you are promoting will make it abundantly clear to hunters the process is simple and important. Nice work.
