Model duck boat makers

You can click his name above and then click "Start Conversation." The next time he logs in the site he will get a notification of the message you sent him. I don't know of a website nor have his number. There are other members here who make miniature boats. You can try the search function. I wish I had a good term for you to search on to narrow things down a bit but I can't think of any other than miniature or model boat. One other thought. There was a recent show on Long Island and possibly NJ too where they had a miniature competition. @Anthony Babich was at these shows and took some really nice pictures. Try messaging him as well. He may be able to lead you to a list of the competitors. Below is a link to his show coverage.

that’s a great looking Piro. Your friend did a very nice job building it

Those look neat. My sneakboxes all had trunks for stab boards that helped hold them in place in less than 4’ of water as we set it picked up the decoys. Have you built any models with similar trunks and with soritsails?

Many years ago my Dad taught me decoy making. Along the way I also started making mode sneakboxes and garveys. The sneakboxes I pattern from my boats built by Carl Adams, my Great Grandfather, the garveys off of photos / dimensions I'm provided with.View attachment 56020View attachment 56021View attachment 56023The 10’ garveys we has only had about a 12” wide front flat. The builder pulled into a bit of flair to deflect spray. They were stable great little boats.

Beautiful boats! Capt Lindsay I sent you a DM, I also put the word out to our local decoy club members about builders. We hosted our first annual "Model Duck Boat" Exhibit this past March it was a huge hit! Currently we have had over 98,900 plays of the video on our Instagram @LiDecoyCollectors I encourage you to check out some of the media from that show!

Where would I find the material? I do not use Facebook.
